Eyebrow transplants are performed under local anaesthetic and you can go straight home after the procedure.
The results of your eyebrow transplant can be seen from 4 months but they normally take around 10 months to achieve the desired look. You will need to do some grooming to ensure your eyebrows look natural. Hairs will need to be trimmed and curled to make sure they blend in but that requires around the same amount of time and maintenance that you would normally spend on them anyway.
After that the results will last forever.
The procedure length depends on how many grafts are required for your desired outcome. Usually it takes around 2-3 hours and as it is performed under a local anaesthetic you are able to leave the same day.
Surgery is minimally invasive, but common side effects include some redness, scabbing, swelling and tightness. You can expect these to subside within a few days, and these shouldn’t cause too much discomfort. Our specialist team are on hand to answer all your queries should you have any questions pre or post procedure or need any support with aftercare, as we take pride in the great aftercare we offer our transplant patients.
